VivoBarefoot Steel Warriors
Project information
“I think as a human being, once you’ve got purpose.. it really does something for you”.
Prepare to have your mind blown by the human shoulder’s ability to stay in its own socket. This film was a collaborative project between footwear brand VivoBarefoot and Steel Warriors, an anti knife crime charity who melt down knives taken off the streets and recycle the steel into outdoor street gyms. We based the creative around a core trio of young, inspirational calisthenic athletes who train regularly together in one of South London’s bar parks.
As their community leader Pez explains, “these gyms have changed the lives of a lot of young people in the area – connecting them with their community and teaching them determination, willpower and the power of purpose.”
